    1/28/22, 1:40 PM - It’s hard to rate a wine that is in decline. Numerically I guess for me it would be in the 86-88.

Tasted non blind at a wine dinner.

Garnet to perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of cedar, underbrush, tobacco and mixed dark fruits. Flavors of berries and cherries. Bright acidity, firm tannins, full bodied. I'd recommended holding.

    7/13/11, 5:51 PM - So I am curious. I recently had this wine and I found it way to primary for my taste, since I see you have had many aged wines how long would you hold 5 more bottles? Personally I felt as if I drank it way too young.
