Nice after decanting of 40 mins +. Good acidity with tart cherry. Paired well with Orzo bolognese and sauteed veggies.

Easy drinking crowd pleasing blend, sweeter than I prefer but that is what everyone wants out of California Reds these days.

This wine tastes like it has some Petit Verdot but label says differently. High in alcohol. Dominated by heavy floral lavender and then pencil shavings. Fuller body but little tannin. Missing the dried fruit currants typical of this varietal.
I'd prefer a $10 Mendoza when in need of a Malbec.

Was concerned that I waited too long to open this and surprised by how well it is tasting in June 2021. Great fruit and body. Still good acidity to pair with Beyond burgers. So glad I have one more to enjoy.

Dark Fruit, good quality cab for $20. Prior rating of 82 by one user seems completely wrong given the value of this wine. Rating of 90s set now to correct the average.

Just okay, not something I would look to purchase more.

Enjoyed this wine with a ribeye and it is still tasting well. I'm guessing that less decanting is better than more. After open one hour it is really fine.
Rest in peace Thomas C. His dedication to Livermore wine making is still shining brightly.

Ruby colored with no sediment in the bottle. It smells a little floral, like rose. The body is light to medium. The wine has a satin-like texture. The wine finishes short with medium acidity.

Bright fruit, enough butteriness and oak for a new world chardonnay.
This 2016 will compare well against many others at double/triple the price.

This vintage is similar to the very popular 2012. Don't miss it.

This wine really improved after being open so decant it. 2013 is a good QPR and drinking well now.
I'll wait on another bottle but in this $20 range, pop the cork when ever you need a bargain Pinot.

Needed decanting for 1.5 hrs before this seemed worthwhile. Vegetal nose, with black pepper, and then the tannin came through for a longer finish. I'm not sure about the drink window dates on this but I'll leave that for the more experienced. Great QPR, would gladly purchase again, but this vintage is long gone at my local member warehouse store.

Opened today and it did not disappoint. No decanting needed. Still tasting amazing, wish I had more to savor over the next year.

This 2012 Merlot has the same back label note as the 2011, except the Vintage on the label reads 2012. "This Merlot was blended with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc which added to enhance the bouquet and flavor. The wine has an herbal bouquet, a cherry and berry flavor and a slight touch of oak from aging in French and American barrels."

Even after all of this time, still bright. Hints of pinapple, banana and caramel. A good California style Chardonnay. Chris Graves talents showing through. Wish he was still there. Well worth the price but its long gone now.

Not as good as my favorite vintage, the 2009 but good qpr.

A solid bargain Pinot Noir, tart cherry and a long finish. Acidity is medium + pairing well.
