At its pinnacle. Slightly brown colour. Taste wonderfully balanced. Surprisingly light in colour. (11/2018)

Too mild (sweet) for my taste. Just worked with a Thai chicken meal.

Not for aperitif; toasty, darker yellow. OK with smoked fish, etc.

Restrained/dry for a Zweigelt. Needs aeration (at least 1hr). A little sediment, so decant in any case. Overall a very decent wine!

Corked. Otherwise extremely dense. Chocolate/ripe fruit flavors. Thankfully not too sweet = tannins. Depot mostly solid (easy decanting).

After very careful decanting (54 yrs old): crystal clear amber! Classic Colheita of the highest order.

Classic Sancerre. Refreshing minerality. V. good Price/quality ratio.

Disappointing; nice restrained bouquet; palate surprisingly flat; aftertaste decidedly acid. Perhaps the 16 years was too long a wait!

This bordeaux has developed wonderfully! Bouquet complex and strong; taste full of fruit; aftertaste harmonious but still dry enough. In my view a truly great wine.

At the moment too young, but has potential. Probably best 2009-2012. Uncorked for 3 hours. Unharmonious at first, but developed well in the glass.
