Very nicely and intensely acidic. Plenty of backbone but not too rustic. Fennel, black pepper and currant.
Certainly ready to drink now, but will be great for at least another 4 years.

Took a beauty nap and woke up a stunner. Sweet and tart red berries. Well balanced.

Magnificent. Lightly tannic, the oak is smooth and somewhat mature in 2014. Balanced and lots of cherry. Tasted with a handful of much more expensive wines, yet this was a standout.

Big body. Lots of tart fruit. Has the tannins and acidity to lie down for another few years. Very nice.

One of the better testarossa single vineyard offerings. Sweet nose. Full body, the alcohol a bit sharp. Vibrant acidity and not too much oak.

Wonderful! Has come a long way since last tasted in 2012. Deep, saturated red color. Plum and red fruit. Silky, smooth, light. Nearly tanninless, a bit of nice acidity.

Oak/ vanilla is prominent. Tropical fruit honey, ample acidity and a very long finish.

Purchased at Costco for $17. This is what I want in a Riesling. Pleasant notes of stone fruit and minerality. Succulent acidity and just a touch of non-cloying sweetness make this easy to pair with food, especially ethnic food. It wears its nearly 13% alcohol gracefully.

Quite a bit of acidity. Toasty, spicy. The fruits aren't as pretty as Russian river's best.

Smooth, round tannins. Drink now. Bashful dark fruits present themselves with very little acidity. LOTS of sediment. 1-2 hrs decanting are a must.

Great table red. Light like a pinot, spicy like a zin and Syrah. Kirsch and fruit punch on the nose. Featherlight body. White pepper and bright fruit. Gentle, capricious tannins show up at the end

It's fine. No surprises, no flaws. Have it as your third bottle of the night.

Rich, ripe fruit are pleasant and somewhat complex, if not somewhat encumbered by the wine's 15% alcohol. Decant and drink now.

Rich, very ripe plum and black cherry and warm spice. Earthy flavors and graphite in the background. Needs time to open up, then pretty smooth.

Dark fruit, currant, spice and chocolate. High percentage alcohol is prominent on the nose. Tannins appear at the end to make a pleasant finish.

Quite wonderful. This wine is just coming of age. Dark fruit and licorice, oak and rounded tannins.

16% abv, a maximally phenolically ripe wine. Sweet blackberry and plum on the nose. Starts with light oak, and full of intensely rich dark fruit.

A little bit of butter for the butter fans out there, but generous, succulent acidity to round it out. Pleasant notes of tropical fruit, and a pleasant, meandering finish.

Very high quality wine. A large and powerful chard. Just a little bit corked, still drinkable if it's pretty cold. Should've had this 4 years ago.
