Med+ tannin and acid. Full body. Deep Ruby color. Still seems fresh and can continue to age. Black fruits and baking spices on the nose with supple tannins. Medium finish. Flavorful cherry and plum with cedar, nutmeg. Well balanced very good wine.

Love this wine. Deep purple red color. Red fruit, cherry licorice and jam on the nose. Big red but balanced with relaxed tannin. Not a long finish but pleasant. Tasted with pasta and meatball marinara but still enjoying long after meal is over.

Delicious, balanced body and fruit. Deep color and dark red fruit taste. NOT a wimpy Merlot. I let it breath in the glass for 30 minutes. I may or may not decant or aerate next glass for comparison. I'm glad I have another bottle.

Kind of wimpy and funky to me. Maybe it is flawed. I have another bottle so maybe I'll update this negative impression after that one.

All of the Von Strasser wines at this tasting were very good, especially the 04 Diamond Mountain Cabernet and both the 04 and 00 Sori Bricco Meritage. This 00 Meritage I could not resist purchasing. I had no intention to buy any wines at all but I could not leave without a bottle. I would have bought more but $45 bottles of wine are not within my budget. This was smooth and balanced and lush - an mmmmmmmmmm....wine.
