Great little wine here that has neat little package and seems to have providence. I don't have a lot of experience with SA wines, so was interested in this one. Pricey, but worth it in CAN. Nose is light with tropical fruit qualities. Palate is med+ bodied and balanced with rich fruit and acid. Some white tropical fruit, minerality, finishing with some very light grassy undernotes. Nice and complex, unique profile and overall refreshing. Would pair well with variety of food. Solid buy and try and would do well in cellar for another 2 years easy. Would like try more from producer.

As per AMJN below...I have little more to add. Smooth and dang tasty. This is pricey @ 30$ and 15% ETOH. Delivers the QPR. Drinks perhaps at its peak and will hold for a couple more years yet...not sure if this screams South Africa to me, but nice blend that comes off like a 60/40 split of old world/new world. Perfect for Winter time fare.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and prune. It tastes like prune, stoniness and cinnamon. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
