Deep, balanced tannins, great fruit. Amazing after a 2 hour decant. Saved a glass for the next evening as well.

Drank against a few other vintages of Cru and Estate. This 07 is drinking very well. Excellent structure with fruit and forest floor.

Drank half one night and the remainder the next night. Amazing after being open for 24 hours. Rich and juicy with great fruit and structure. This will be good for years to come.

This is the spiciest, most peppery wine I have ever had. Unique, although I've only had NZ Sav Blanc. Some earth, no tannin, no oaks or fruits, just spice. Unique (I said that already).
I'm coming back for N. Island Syrah.
This was exceptional against Indian food.

Drank at MWA Wine Advisory Board Dinner. Against verticals of Spottswood, 97 Insignia, Togni and more. This was up there.
Great balance and hidden tanins. This could use more time.

Great balance, black fruits, a little dirt. I wish I had another bottle to keep for 5 more years.

Two bottles for NYE: One opened for a 7 hour decant and one drank after an hour opened. This bottle needs air!
Great black fruits, mild tannin and a great finish. This bottle is likely peaking. I'm glad I have one more.

Served 8 bottles at a Christmas party featuring filet. The bottles are the last of a case I purchased from the winery and have been in my storage since.
Amazing wine. Color, nose, mouth feel, balance. Black fruits, mid palate tannins. I wish I had more.
