This wine was lovely. We tasted a little bit of pepper with the delicious red fruit. Num num! (Oh oh! My college aged daughter warned me not to use that term - apparently it has more to with 'eating' than drinking!)

I bought this at my local wine store because the wine maker has the same first name as my son! How cute is that? It was delish and had bright fruit and a nice long finish.

I really liked the silky smoothness of this wine. And I loved the pretty red fruit. The last glass was more delicious than the first. My brother in law says that means we need to wait before opening any more bottles; we'll see about that.

I was very impressed with the texture of this lovely wine. While my brother in law went on and on about spices and sticks and leaves I just tuned him out and continued to enjoy the bright smooth flavors. Love, love, love Patricia Green.

This isn't one of those big serious wines but it is smooth, fruity, delicious and fun to drink. It made us happy with our Monday night lentil sweet pepper soup.

I bought this wine on my brother in law's recommendation. Truth be told, he is one of those wine geeky types. Considering that, I am not surprised that this wine is a little bit mean and bitey. I am also not surprised that it smells like pickles and green leaves. The bridge ladies aren't going to like it very much*. I actually think it's delish and and the touches of greenness and tannic bite add complexity and refreshment to this well made wine.

*In fact, it is easy to imagine Donna spitting it across the table along with little chunks of the tea sandwich she had in her mouth when she took her first sip.

We popped down to the cellar and brought this up to drink with take out fajita's It went just perfectly with the food offering juicy blackberry flavors and spicy Zinfandel accents. Smooth, flavorful and easy drinking; what more can a girl ask for?
