Really looked forward to this bottle after 2 hours of decanting. Lacked complexity and the four of us were just not yearning for that next sip. Enjoyed other vintages of this legendary label much more. Will pull one from the cellar next year and try again.

Untouchable first hour (rough and almost a metallic taste) and then started to open up nicely with hints Black currant, clove and a touch of cinnamon. Modestly fruit forward which is fine by me.
This still needs some time. Will wait one year and it should be good to go.

One of the best malbecs I've had in a while. Purple color and a touch of chocolate / coffee aroma. Medium to full body and lingering favors. Just an overall great value here and it's ready to drink, cheers

Opened up and poured through an aerator to get an initial taste. Of course it needed some time to breath but after waiting two hours, it didn't go anywhere. Yes it has a nice bouquet and body but that's it. No lingering favors, just plain boring. Is it worth $25? Yes, but at $55, this was very disappointing. I'll wait another two years to try again.

This wine is ready to enjoy. It's has medium fruit tones (hard to define exact berry flavor) and a medium body with mild tannins. Very approachable but not too much depth. I wouldn't keep this one around too long don't think it will improve with aging.

Much better since I tried it last year. A fruit bomb slightly overshadowed with lots of heat / alchohol. As others note, this is a one glass wine.

Past it's time, I waited too long on this one so its my bad.
The wine looks brick colored. There is light sediment in the bottle and a bit astringent on the back end. . Barely drinkable.

Bought a case thinking it would match up to the outstanding 2008 vintage. Unfortunately not. Had 2 bottles, I could dismiss one but unfortunately two bottles tasted very earth like and a bit too much cedar/oak overtones. No evidence of cork leakage but seemed unusual. It could be me-- I will try in 6 months.

Nice bouquet of raspberry / blueberry with a hint of smoke. Tasted A bit hot mid-palate/caught a note of citrus as well. Has more new world style than one would think. The bottle is only open 15 minutes, I'm gonna let it sit a while but I see it evolving further. All in all I'm pleased with this wine, nice value. I'm gonna try another bottle in 6 months

A confused wine, taste was not consistent. Not sure if it needed more time or if it was a weak effort.

Nothing special, boring. A little too much graphite and never opened up after breathing for about 2 hours.
The body is Medium. And it has Narrow texture. T

Needs an hour to open up, nice cherry bouquet and lingering vanilla notes. I like this wine because its not too hot like so many of the moderately priced Spanish wines. Smooth texture /medium body so its drinkable in the summer months--great value here

Fantastic raspberry bouquet but unfortunately a bit metallic / tart. I was anticipating a lot more from such a highly regarded Pinot for my Father's Day / US Open enjoyment.

Bought a case based upon prior vintage consumption, popped first bottle at dinner with friends, disappointed. Nice boquet but totally vegetal, as noted by many others. Despite decanting a second bottle for two hours, I wasn't getting anywhere. I will put the remaining ten away for a year and hope for a magical transformation.
