Has aged well. That said, it has hollow lack of complexity. Just not that interesting. Tannins are fully resolved, this is probably already past its peak. Drink now if you have it.

Sometimes, you open a bottle, and it serves to remind why we cellar wine. 2 previous bottles were corked, and two were mediocre at best (I generously rated them 85 and 86 pts) This bottle was entirely different. It smelled and tasted unquestionably like left bank Bordeaux. Minerally, fruit is pretty much gone, some cigar box and cedar. This was by no means long or profound, but satisfying in a way the the previous bottles never foretold. It wasn't a waste of cellar space after all. Drink up. 88-90 pts
