We had a vertical of 04, 06, 08 and 11. 06 was drinking the smoothest, best without food - but the 11 was overall the best balanced. 08 was the most tannic, but still drinking great. All four were great. Some nice subtle differences.

Cherry, plums, cassis on the nose, stewed fruit, also getting some leather and tobacco. Dark berries, earth and spice on palate. Acid present, Dusty tannins, well balanced. More enjoyable on day 2 so bumped a point. You could definitely hang on to this for another 3-5 years no problem. I have a 2012 magnum that I’ll be interested to see how it compares. When BC wine starts to let me down, I return to this finding a consistently solid Okanagan Valley Meritage. This benefited greatly from a 2-3hr decant.

Delicious now, but probably need to let it sit another 2 - 3 years before we try our next bottle

5/7/17, 1:40 PM - Bonnieux, Not sure what you mean by DNdp? If you mean don't double post, I looked at other posts, and it looks like my January 2017 post to let it sit was followed in April 2017 to let it sit as well. I'm good with repeats on this kind of thing anyway, as it reinforces the sentiment. And I am no expert, by any means. Is that what you meant
