Just delicious, especially after being open about half an hour. To bad no more of this will be made.

Betsy and I didn't much care for this. Not much fruit and a little more barnyard that I'd prefer.

I've had six of these in cellar for several years. Opened two recently on separate occasions. Both corked. What a disappointment. No trace of age per se and you can taste just enough through the corkiness to perceive what could have been a wonderful glass. Nevertheless the corkiness made both bottles undrinkable.

Still going strong. Fruit is still there. I liked it alot. Betsy thought it was too smoky, both on the nose and the finish. We're really tasting different things on this one.

Despite the cork falling apart while being removed, the wine was remarkably fresh and youthful. Clear, bright yellow color but with no trace of browning. Typical aromatic notes of gasoline and pineapple. On the palate, bright acidity, dried herbs, a pleasant hint of bitterness with marked minerality. Amazing vigor and freshness.

Slight nose on opening, but developed markedly in the glass to present notes of strawberry liqueur, white pepper, anise. Eventually, there emerged fruity notes of blueberry and black currant. Beautifully balanced on the palate with the distinctive softness of age. Doesn't particularly call attention to itself, but a beautiful wine and a perfect accompaniment to food.

Bright salmon pink with a light froth from residual carbon dioxide. Delicate aroma of strawberries, white flowers, & lemons. Bright acidity on the palate with a hint of almonds and dark cherry. Clean and refreshing. A hint of cherry/almond bitterness lingers on the finish. A fine accompaniment for all kinds of summer food. Can stand up to the spiciness of all kinds of Middle Eastern and Asian foods. 90 points.

Pale gold. Lovely nose of spiced pears, kerosene, linden flowers, damp earth. On the palate, consistent flavors with refreshing acidity and minerality of wet stones. Almost irridescent changes of flavor from sip to sip. Very delicious with Asian (Thai) inspired food tonight.

Less perfumy than typical for Viognier. Slightly higher acidity than typical viognier made for a more refreshing drink and was easy to pair with food

Rich, dark, tannic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Lots of black fruit on both nose and palate. It's still pretty tannic and should drink even better in a couple of years.

Rich characteristically Sbragia chardonnay.

A bit closed when initially opened. With just a little time it opened nicely into a fruity, fresh deliciously uncomplicated quaff.

Delicious, fragrant, rich. Vanilla and lemon custard notes on both nose and palate. Another fine and typical Sbragia bottle.

Considerable yeast character with dark brandy-like autolysis notes. Rich, deep nose and flavors offset by considerable bright acidity. Totally, assertively dry! Betsy says her best Champagne experience so far. Maybe a little overly dry and acid for me (an I normally think of those as preferences!).

A favorite. Fresh tasting great food wine. Balanced with good acid.

Some age characteristic, but still good with nice support from a firm acid backbone.

Changed markedly as the bottle was open. Pale color with no sign of oxidation. Initial nose was closed but with a little touch of brett. In the mouth, rich mouthfeel, good acid, aromas of candied grapefruit peel, muscadine grapes, maybe a little kiwi. With air and time, the aroma of brett diminished and floral notes come up in the nose. A challenging and curious wine.

Light, fresh red table wine. Cherry on the nose and palate. The wine seemed to become fresher and more aromatic as it opened.

Fragrant with bright notes of raspberry and black cherry. Touch of smoke; touch of something wild...(fur? animal?). Nicely structured with firm tannins, good acid. We all liked this one.

With cheeses before dinner. Dark, complex on both nose and palate. Considerable substance. Toast, yeast, toasted almonds. Serious, almost brooding, wine. Less an aperitif than a serious food wine. Has the body and presence to stand up to other strong flavors.

Fresh, vigorous, immediately appealing. The primary fruit is still abundant: blueberries, blackberries, cedar, and coffee pour out of the glass. Fragrant while still in the glass. On the palate, beautifully balanced. Velvety, but still with plenty of structure. Still comes across as youthful with years yet to go. Delicious.

Found a couple of bottles of this while making an overdue inventory and "clean up". Figured it would be way over the hill, but opened it anyway. Surprisingly good. Although there was definite age characteristic both in color and nose, the wine was actually quite satisfying. This was an unusual Chardonnay when it was bottled and age has perhaps emphasized the off-dry quality. Finished the bottle on day 2 with a supper of fresh Dungeness crab. An atypical but quite satisfying drink.

This blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Durif was really delicious. Still deep purple. Nose includes smoke, espresso, stewed prunes. Good acidity and balance. Not overly cloying or sweet. Refreshing and bright, medium texture. Nice with desert but perhaps even better suited to being drunk on its own or with nuts and cheese.

Very pretty chardonnay. Bright acidity tasted of fresh or baked apple to me. Betsy and Kelley said grapefruit peel. (?) Vanilla and custard qualities emerged with additional time open. A great complement to the shellfish pasta.

Major renovation going on in the kitchen with disrutpion to all major systems, so we sat outside in the dark, ordered pizza, and opened this wine. Exactly like a really satisfying regional vino da tavolo that you might be served throughout Italy. Pretty and uncomplicated nose of maraschino cherries and carnauba wax. Light bodied, nicely balanced, food friendly, drink-me-now wine. Not complex, intellectiually challenging, or deep, but very simpatico.
