This was really a great bottle. And it kept getting bigger as we drank it. We opened a bottle of chateau d'armailhac at the same time and this is drinking better right now. Will wait to open another one for a bit.

I won't buy this again. I like the apothic red but not the dark.

Very nice! We decanted this and drank it about an hour or two later. It just kept getting better as we drank it. I'd have loved to tasted this the next day but it was gone long before the night was over.

Very acidic, but it has developed better as the wine has opened up. I'm not a big fan of Pinot's, and it could also be that this vintage has peaked.

Opened this up with a friend on a snow day. The bottle was very good and really opened up. While it may have been a little light upon first tasting, it really opened up nicely.

I opened this when we had a party at the house, and didn't really taste this much. Good wine, worked well for the party and everyone enjoyed it.

I'm usually a big fan of layer cake, but this bottle was a little underwhelming from usual. Still a very good bottle, still very fruit forward, still jammy, but lacking a bit of body that I've experienced in the past with this wine.

Yes, we performed infanticide. But yes, it was still a very nice bottle of wine. It was tight and still tannic, but we took it slow and really showed that it will continue to improve as it continues to age.

This was not as big as I would have hoped. It did improve over time though.

Nice nouveau. They're never amazing, but I certainly do enjoy drinking them as a sign of winter coming on.

Was expecting a sweet dessert wine with strong apple flavor. Was shocked as that wasn't the case at all. Not sweet, and this reminded me more of a light pinot grigio. Wouldn't buy it again, but enjoyed the apple wine.

Popped this open to have with some homemade tomato sauce with ravioli. Very drinkable. More fruity, and opened up nicely. The flavors build in the mouth if you hold it for a few moments. I'd drink it again as an everyday bottle.

It's nice to make an organic wine, but let's worry about making a good wine first. This lacked in most areas. Not much of a nose, thin, and disappeared quickly. Mostly mineral notes. Would not buy this again.

It was fine, but it wasn't anything special. I won't buy it again.

This is a great bottle of wine for any day and every day drinking. I like the front forward fruit and jamminess. Had it with some pasta and a red sauce and it complemented it wonderfully!

Decent chardonnay for the money. I still favor Lindeman's for a value Chardonnay.

Decent. I like the Semillon grape giving it just a bit of sweetness to cut the acidity of the sauvignon blanc grape.

This was a gag LSU gift way back, and I decided I didn't want to keep it for the rest of my life, so I opened it. I expected it was bad, but figured I'd give it a shot.

Good Chardonnay, especially considering the grapes were grown in North Carolina. Good yellow/gold color, and nice balance where I get some oakiness, but I don't get splinters either. very drinkable!

The thing that jumped out to me when I first tasted it was that it's thin. Not a lot of body or flavor. A little more acidic on the back end as well. Nose is ok, maybe a bit of prune and earthiness.

OK, so it's 2 hours after opening the bottle, and it is much improved. Changing my rating from 81 to a 85.

Very nice Sangiovese for a NC winery that grows all of their own grapes!

After reading some of the notes, I was concerned that this wouldn't be a nice bottle. I don't know if my bottle is passed its peak or not, but it is still a very good bottle of wine, even for someone who is not a big pinot fan.

Still has good color, a nice nose, and enough tannins to notice it. Earthy, maybe a bit mineraly as well. When I swirl it in my mouth, it continues to build in flavor for 15-20 seconds. And after swallowing, it still lasts. A great bottle of wine.

Tannins still there, nice big nose, but slightly disappearing on the back end. Acidity is good. Alcohol balance is good too.
