July 5, 2021 - This for $15 when I purchased has really held its own for the money and that’s why I rated higher than most.
( Decanted: 2 hours came back and drank after
    6hours )

Noticeable sediment on the side of the bottle color was medium ruby with slight rim variation showing some age.

NOSE: The wine had good fruit here the dark cherry is still pure/fresh with some dried/darker fruit notes from age. Though The wine greets you with a big chocolate note from the oak, Sandalwood, and classic Cabernet spices very good nose

PALATE: the tannins are so well interpreted time has taken all the grip without sacrificing structure leaving a silky good drinking by wine. The fruit follows on the palate while being a little jumbled there is still just enough acid and structure to hold the fruit and oak.

OVERALL: Drink now it’s time to enjoy this wine no need to wait any longer it’s window is wide open! Clearly the wine lacks a little focus on the palate and the oak is a little much in terms of being integrated and balanced but for $15 91pts as of now all the way it’s tannins are so well integrated. You cold drink this Cabernet by itself a lot of complexity & flavor for very little $ holding onto this proved worth it!

March 13, 2021 - Decanted for 2+ hours. Good, supple and smooth Cabernet in a classically styled CA way. Medium to Full bodied. Very simple and uncomplicated wine - not trying to do too much. Good, potent nose with black and blue fruit with some light wood. On the palette, ripe black cherry from a hot season and sweet spices from the wood. Did a vertical tasting with the 2012 vintage of the same wine. The 2013 is less concentrated and doesn’t have the same purity of fruit as does the 2012 (and neither wine is at the gold standard level of 2006 and 2007 for this cab), but still the 2013 is a very enjoyable and easy drinking cab. I liked the slight savory notes to it; long finish. Nice nose with gentle, well integrated oak. Medium-Low acidity but should pair well with pork and red meat. Tannins are fully softened and the wine will continue to lose the remainder of its fruit each passing month so drink up now (should hold up though 2022 but will certainly not improve).

April 10, 2020 - Day 1 only had a glass and seemed like pretty standard CS with currant, dark choc, a little forest spice and round but firm tannins. Day 2 was a surprise, slow swirled by the fire pit and it opened up to a silky lingerie feel of sweet berries and cassis syrup, a strong kiss of vanilla, along with a hint of med herbs and minty chocolate. The cool temp put this at the perfect place with med+ finish, over-delivering in a big way. Saved a glass for Day 3 and had lost some of its finesse, but a solid 90 for Day 2 performance.

January 30, 2019 - This is drinking much better now than earlier reviews indicate. Pleasant perfumed nose. Dark purple ruby saturated color. Rich sweet berry and cassis fruit with no jamminess. Medium/full bodied. Nice balance of acidity and tannins give structure to the flavorful fruit. Best after an hour or so of airing. Delicious now, I doubt this will get better but it should hold for 2-3 years at least. One of the best wines at this (modest) price point I can remember.

(Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County) Saturated, opaque, black-tinged red violet color; aromatic, mocha, fig, black cherry puree nose; tasty, black cherry puree, fig, mocha palate with drying tannins and good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (Cabernet Sauvignon with a "touch of Petite Sirah" and a "hint of Merlot"; 13.8% alcohol) 86+ points
