Surprised it didn't mellow more in the bottle, but after 15 minutes decanted it started to open up nicely. Alcohol a bit concentrated, but drinking easily.

This wine received a split decision against the Fontanella we poured at the same time. I felt it was a bit too dry and a little one dimensional.

Was moving bottles from the old wine unit to the new one and found this bottle. We were a bit worried that it might be past its prime, but we were pleasantly surprised when we opened it. Very smooth with subtle tannins, but still bodied.

Slow to open up, but after a couple of hours decanted, the wine had much more character. Very soft finish.
