Bought this Magnum for my wedding, the week after my 40th. Cork was 90% saturated, but was able to open with some patience and a standard key. Opened and poured to 6 glasses, as there was no decanter. Let aerate for 45 minutes. First sip was huge, and it lasted for over a minute. I'm fairly new at tasting, but I see why RP rated this 100pts. I have no other 100pt wines that I've yet tasted for comparison, but this was incredible. The nose was red fruit, spice, leather. The mouth was enormous with soft tannins. That's the only way I know how to describe this. I give it 99pts only because I may someday have a better wine, but until now, this is perfection in a bottle.
