Not my style of wine. My mother loved it and I can see why. Very soft almost feminine cabernet with slightly sweet fruit.

Really hitting its stride. Velvety mouthful. Dark rich and full for OR pinot noir. WOTN vs 02 Andrew Rich Sorella and 01 Mr Vedeer Reserve Red.

Very well balanced. Just the right mix of oak butter and fruit. Lime and honeyed apple paired with Dungeness crab Caesar salad. Very well made wine.

Just released a few weeks ago. Needs a little time. Pleasing yet a little simple at this time. I will try to wait a year before popping another one.

I enjoyed this bottle even more than my last. Of course celebrating my first wedding adding anniversary at Portland City Grill didn't hurt. Got it decanted early and boy did it show. Big and silky luxurious fruit once the oak subsided. Really great wine

Not quite as fresh as my last couple bottles but still really tasty. Lots of green apple and bready notes. Drink up

Took to dinner. Beautiful evening in Troutdale. This baby was singing off the pop. Rich concentrated berry and plum with silky tannins. Improved a little with time and air but not too much. In a great place

Not a real serious note. Popped a magnum with my beautiful wife and my mother paired with very flavorful Oregon Dungeness crab. In post meal bubbles bliss. I thought a magnum might be too much. I thought wrong!

What a great bottle. Meat and violets on the nose. Rich dark fruit. Balanced and full without being heavy. A little young but so tasty. Great with lamb shanks.

Still a bit young. 1 hour decant and oak is super dominate. Came back to it a few hours later and wine kept getting better. Great finish. Paired with filet mignon mushrooms and mashed cauliflower. Think I'll wait a couple years on my other bottle.

91 points. Very well made pinot. Silky tannins good fruit and a bit earthy. First bottle popped on my birthday. Followed by 2008 DDO Willamette Valley and the 2014 Bergstrom Gregory ranch. Bergstrom was my WOTN

91. In a good place no decant. Oak is well integrated and tannins are soft. Nice fruit. Enjoyed with grilled Italian sausage and grilled zucchini with a nice red sauce

In a great place. No decant needed. Dark rich fruit and just a little funk. Which I like. Also popped a 2008 Sinenann four heathens that was fantastic as well. Grilled chicken kebabs and zucchini. Great wine. Great night

Took this to the OR coast for dinner at local ocean. Best food on the coast. Nice citrus and apple in the mouth. Slightly creamy mouthful and acid was on point. Love this bottle! Fantastic day made special with great bubbles

Meaty funky nose. Really well balanced. Soft and delicious off the pop. Glad I waited a bit on this one. Always sells out before it's ready in my area. Only complaint is slight bitter/green note on the finish. I'll still gladly have another glass

This a big boy. Oak is starting to integrate. Double decant and about 45 minutes and fruit emerged and got really nice. Paired with grilled filet mignon. Maybe I do like tempranillo after all

Popped and vinturri. Just lovely. Good juicy fruit plenty of acid in a good way. This wine is a great example of the 13 vintage. The hint of smoke has mellowed but adds a nice layer of depth. Absolutely delicious! I only have one more. May need to buy more. Great job to the awesome Lange family!

Very elegant feminine pinot. Ran it through the venture and that was enough. Open and silky. Raspberry and floral. Lovely

Interesting wine. Fuller and a touch sweeter than the regular bottling. Great wine for a crowd. Definite Wagner wine. Acid and tannin a little lacking. I think the only noticeable tannin is from the oak. Well made for what it is and my midweek dinner. Drink now

I remembered really liking the 09 of this wine and decided to give the 11 a shot. This wine is fantastic. $16 I put this up against wines 2-3 time's its price. Right about at its peak. Oak is integrated and slightly sweet some dark berry notes along with cedar cigarbox eucalyptus and a hint of licorice. Complex plush very enjoyable.

Drank this a little colder than I should have. The wine delivers a very clean balanced mineral flavor with subtle grapefruit notes. Takes me back to a sunny beautiful day on Friday Harbor with my fiancee. Had after bubbles with crab wish I had oysters to pair with this beauty. The memory I got from this bottle of that great day is a big part of why I love wine!

I really enjoy this producer. Opened this after a corked valpolicella. Still primary with dark fruit, meat, and vanilla really emerging after a hour decant. Great mouthful and still quite fresh. Well done Javier!

I will go a 90 here. Double decant probably wasn't necessary. Surprised how soft and feminine this was. Was expecting a bit more acidity for a 13 not saying the wine needed it. Can't quite call what I'm tasting if pressed I would say red raspberry and blood orange. Muted nose. This wine may be so balanced that it's not quite interesting if that makes sense. Paired with salmon, roasted broccoli and mashed cauliflower.

Anniversary dinner at El Gaucho. My second bottle was so much better than my first. Dark raspberries and such a silky mouthful. Everything in this wine is coming together. I still think I will wait a couple years on my last bottle.

Muted savory nose. After 20 minutes dark fruit emerges and graphite subsides. Getting better with every sip. I don't see this improving. Glad I popped it
