Shock of 2013, paired perfectly with french onion soup, rich, complex, delicious. Fantastic QPR, one of the better bottles of the year. Definitely not done, very fresh and alive.
Red
Still strong with vanilla and heat and fresh, good with burgers.

Fantastic, paired perfectly with spicy chicken tikka masala. Unbelievably reminiscent of trip to Mosel, it is the "next level" riesling that you do not taste anywhere else in the world.

Excellent, drinking well now, tannins fell away, medium plus acid, dark blueberry fruit, paired GREAT with burgers (especially with tomato, onion, avocado, i.e. California burger w/ California wine).

Red
lots of fruit without cloying/syrupy flavors. Raspberries, red cherries, fresh and bright. Excellent, paired with teriyaki hanger steak. Tannins are barely discernible, but strong structure with acid and I imagine it is peaking now (but what do I know?). Tastes like a spring red (vs. winter) with bright fruit and not heavy.

Really, really good! A little hot, but pairs perfectly with seafood and butter (think scallops in butter sauce), delicious.

Opened up right away, beautiful balance, then started fading after 30 minutes. GREAT with pizza, I suspect the wine is at it's pinnacle!

Hitting on all cylinders, unfortunately our last bottle of the 2005 (we still have 1 2007 left). A great mix of old world earth and new world fruit, we are wishing David O'Reilly will still make wines that are not just fruit bombs! Very tasty, drinking well, and very very smooth. We were buzzed prior to finishing the bottle, but were unable to taste the heat.

F'ing spectacular! Perfect with french food (even though the food SUCKED). Makes me want to visit the winery and when I tasted I thought: "This is the reason why people age wine".

As always, very enjoyable. Not over-extracted, a nice blend of Washington power with old world touch. (Still a little bit extracted, but good).

Here is the most interesting part about this wine- it paired extremely well with butternut squash, in fact, much better than the pairing with bavette steak! The baking spices in the squash matched, and was delicious. Perfect if you enjoy old world but unique wines.

Velvety soft tannins, balanced, light vanilla on the nose. Very, very good, it has aged well and is not syrupy. Long finish.

EXCELLENT! Very surprised it was a Viognier, soft yet crisp without any of the high alcohol "cocktail" viscosity of other Viognier. Very, very good.

Ephemeral, since it's our last bottle! Delicious, high acids, fruit and even tannins left. It does NOT seem like a 12 year old wine! Perfect with amatriciana pasta. Strong, yet feminine. Tasted too good to analyze. Smooth, very easy drinking. Sad it's the last bottle. Nice work Quilceda!
Rosé
Beautiful wine, crisp yet full-bodied, perfect with pork tenderloin and rhubarb. I enjoyed more than the 2008, more "explosion".
Red
Excellent QPR, very, very good.
Red
well balanced, light enough to drink with Halibut, strong acid. "Nice".

Possibly the best bottle of wine I have ever tasted, seriously. Had it all- great aroma, complexity, balance and long finish. What more do you need? As Kermit Lynch says, "that sounds like 100 points to me!"

Opened for an hour, excellent with grilled flank steak. Had a few bottles of this in the past, but this one was the best as it aged nicely. A solid $15 buy.

Big California red, bright red fruit, oaky vanilla on the back end. Long finish, tannins still young. Great with the steak, definitely a food wine. Tasted alongside a 2001 B.V. Latour Private Reserve, was nearly identical in overall taste with the BV being slightly more sophisticated (due to the age?). Very good wine, will try the next bottle in a year or two.

F'ing beautiful, perfect, everything we wanted out of a red wine. Nice with warm weather, not too rich, not too high in alcohol but really satisfying. Great aroma, well balanced, it's peaking now! Eva is in love with this wine, it's like a thin crust pizza with extra fresh mozzeralla- satisfying yet not heavy. Delicious!

Dark purple color, not a hint of oxidized orange, eggplant. Fragrant hazelnut nose, dried flowers (like grandma's perfume). This tasted great! Unexpectedly smooth, perfectly structured with great balance and acidity. Easy drinking, we were surprise at how "alive" it tasted, and it paired perfectly with a whole grilled chicken. My 40th birthday present from Eva, best gift ever!
