As always one of the great Douro red wines. You could keep it many years more ... just decanted for one hour .

Got it as a gift. A real surprise, one of the best Duero (Douro) I had.
Full bodied and long aftertaste, could have decanted, but after 20 minutes in the glass it was "open & ready to appreciate".

The PORTO IS "40" YEARS, not 30. Very good for the price, Euros 75,00 (simple bottle). The same wine is sold in luxury packing going u to around E 150,00, but the wine is the same. I care for the wine, not the packing!

Even being 18 years old white wine, it was an interesting experience of a mixture of a white wine x white Port wine, pleasant and with what I can name 'personality'. Got from a wine dealer as a gift (bought some 30 bottles). Gold colour. The plastic cork was perfect, even not easy to remove (first good sign).

The wine looks ruby colored. The body is light/medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Easy to drink, very leasant.
