Medium/deep ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Limpid. Nose shows blackcurrant, spice, black pepper, touches of smoke and blood. Medium bodied, blackberry, spice, touch of vanilla, elegant, some pleasing austerity, touch of bacon, good length finish, touch of white pepper. Excellent, probably peaking.
