Still full of life and vibrant. Absolutely superb Rioja. I will save my other bottles for 5-10 more years at least.

Enjoyed in celebration of my parents 50th wedding anniversary (1970) in heaven.

KRUG in every aspect, however; does not posses the "KRUG Smoke" as one reviewer coins the unmistakable nose. The MV has more smoke and this vintage has more bubbles and a longer finish.

Agree with RJPBATH, something is missing. Good, traditional Right Bank nose and color, but for 17 years of sleep...something is remiss from the structure. Enjoyable, but for a few more dollars, one can attain a more memorable experience.
