Unmistakable Syrah on the nose and palate after fist sip plum and fig but with fruit starting to fade making way for soft tannins and oak well integrated with hits of cedar wood and cigar box with layer upon layer of interesting sensations lingering during a wonderful long finish...during at muturity now but still with plenty of life ahead....excepional experience!!!!!

Very pleasant experience and the bouqet alone at this stage was worth the experience.... sadly my only bottle but one that will definitely survive long term cellering and keep on delivering very much pleasure!!!!!!

Christmas 2018 after 2 failed attempts Beaucastel Cotes de Rhones 2007. Solid concentration lots of fruit building through mid palate into long finish. In very sweet spot now.

Very rewarding 2005 Lalande Pomerol..still very much alive last bottle and wonderful to enjoy at this time opulent boquet at 4 hours concentrated and building in the mid pallet and finishing wonderfully fruitiness and wood well integrated for at least 30 seconds; real complement of the excellence of the 2005 vintage!!!
