The nose sent black Cherry and vanilla 3 feet away when we opened it. Flavors of that cherry, blackberry, anise and vanilla prevail all the way. Perfect tannins and surprisingly young for a 2012. The color is like a new cab. I’ll save our other bottle for 2 years.
