As with of Ty's wines, they need time in the bottle and some time after opening before the wine is ready to drink. In the glass, it looks like a cab or merlot, mixed dark fruit on the nose and palate. Not quite in balance ... maybe with a little more time?

Normally I lay petites down for a few years, but this one is ready to drink. Dark fruit (plums, blackberries, etc.), a little vanilla and balanced tannins and acid make this very enjoyable to drink right now. Enjoy.

My better half is NOT a pinot lover, but this one worked for her. Dark plum and berries on the nose and palate with an ample mouth feel, almost like a nice soft merlot. Great balance and very enjoyable with and without food.
