Another impressive bottle. Rich and silky, with ripe red and dark fruit and some mineral notes, and fresh and lively. Great now, but should be fine for a while.

Antonio Galloni nailed this wine about 8 months ago when he posted a note on eRobertParker. I bought several after Garagiste got their mitts on some. This bottle was stunning. After just a few minutes of air, this bottle was rich, round, harmonious and long. Lovely damp earth, cherry fruit. Layered and complex. I always felt the Felsina wines could age for a long time (Rancia), but it was a terrific surprise as to just how good this bottle was.

1/1/13, 5:37 AM - I couldn't agree with you more, though I will not be nearly as elegant. I stumbled on a case at Bin Ends, of all places. I was a bit concerned about quality of storage, not Bin Ends, but their journey to the outlet. All is well, though. And I've been thoroughly enjoying this 95 ever since.
