3/28/24, 8:04 PM - "the Volnay lover's Bordeaux" is a very ringing endorsement. Thanks!
6/19/23, 3:23 PM - Thanks for the encouraging note, DB. After reading I checked to see how deep I had gone in this vintage and remembered I have a mag in addition to 750s, so I'm especially glad to hear you were pleased with it!
11/23/22, 5:11 AM - Thanks. I also have a magnum and do not feel in any rush to open it. I'd expect it to be a bit less developed than this 750, and I'll probably wait 5 years or so before opening the magnum. I'd be confident that ten years would still find the magnum in good shape.
6/18/22, 7:10 PM - Who are you? Where are you? How are you?
10/4/21, 4:34 PM - Yes. What I mean is that the character of the grape is showing more than the character of the vineyard.
3/1/21, 10:47 AM - So few notes on this, so I'm very grateful for some input on where it is. How was the cork? I've had a lot of leaking corks from S-W in '04s and '05s, but I haven't opened any '06s recently. The corks seemed to improve by '07 for sure. Thanks again!
3/30/20, 11:05 AM - @srh You're most welcome! I myself am very grateful when there's useful information in notes as a guide for when to open (or when not to!). Glad I can give back to the community this way.
3/2/10, 12:49 PM - Much better than you expected after your previous note calls it "absolutely delicious"? Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, etc, etc. Seriously though, sounds excellent, glad I have a few of the 2001 left to work through though, because it sounds like this could use some time.
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
