Opened with dessert. Pumpkin cheesecake & lemon cheesecake.
The lemon won. Nice sweet fruity taste. Does not taste like Chardonnay, witch works for me because I do not like chars.

Excellent. Not a huge white wine fan but this was crisp, fresh and delicious. Had with garlic shrimp, Asparagus, rice and a green salad with feta. This wine made me look like an excellent cook. Would definitely buy again.

Must say I was really disappointed in this wine.
After reading this on another review:

This is a very nice Southern Rhone-style Syrah. The bouquet is full of red & black fruit, minerals, and earth.
TC's website says this wine is possibly their most non-Californianian wine, meaning this Syrah exhibits more earth and minerality than most California Syrahs, which can be somewhat overwhelming in alcohol and fruit.

I realize this wine is not my style. I would have rated this an 80, my friend said and 85. I like fruit forward, balanced, smooth finished wines. This is not that.

This is one of my easy drinking mid week wines. Love the flavor. I get the small bottle for those nights my husband does not feel like wine. rich dark fruit, fruit forward, smooth and silky mid palate and finish. Chocolate and vanilla, big black berries are delicious.

First night we decanted 1/2 a bottle for 45 min. Lots of strawberry and vanilla on nose. A little flat on front palate with hints of spice, oak and (Tobacco, Husbands taste) Was a little hot on the finish. 88 pts
Second night ran through a vinturi. This wine opened up very nicely. Lots of Bing cherries and hint of dark chocolate on nose. On tasting there was more fruit forward, dark fruit, chocolate, spice and dark cherries. Mid palate nice acidity and (tobacco, earthy flavor, Husbands taste). Nice medium finish and much smoother. Was a much better wine after opening would recommend decanting. Pushing 90 pts :-)
Had with steak and Italian sausage for dinner.
For $ 9.50 this wine is my mid week "Ah Hell lets open a bottle of wine." wine.

Wine tasting trip to left coast. Not a white wine drinker usually however enjoyed this wine enough to buy a few bottles. It was very bright, refreshing and crisp.

Day 1: Ok maybe just not my style. Decanted an hour and that did not help. Oh well Day 2: Ok thank god for the edit button. Gassed and pumped and put up in the wine cooler for 24 hour. Wow this baby really opened up. Up front fruit and full mouth feel lots of flavor. Nice long full flavor finish. Lush with
dark raspberry, licorice, cocoa powder and blackberry jam. Nice smooth tannic finish.

Wonderful nose. Lots of citrus and honey. Taste fresh honey, not to sweet. Consistent flavor throughout. Had with Swai fish baked in bread crumbs and Green beans and baked potatoes.

Very nice. Decanted for an hour. Had with home made pizza, cheese, sauce, tomatoes, zucchini and a little pepperoni. Went well with food. Vanilla on the nose, sour cherries on the mid pallet and a nice smooth finish.
