Definitely time to drink. Palate was thinning showing lean (not fresh) red fruit, a bit of oak and slightly austere finish. Not flawed - just finished.

Ripe red fruit remains fairly dense, but with a pronounced amount of oak. Aromatics and color suggest some maturity and finish turns a bit lean. Probably best to consume now - provided you like the wood.

At peak maturity. Spicy peach, green raisin and slate in viscous, broad palate. Reasonable amount of acidity and minerality maintain a freshness in the wine.

Drink now!

Dark, ripe fruit over run by a pronounced VA. Condition, color and weight of the wine suggested that it should be drinking well at this point. Will have to revisit in the near term...

Pleasant - Very approachable, classic styled Bordeaux. Showed well for ~ 90 minutes before beginning to fade. Red current, berry and a hit of earth supported by fine tannins. Time to consume my remaining bottles.

This one exceeded expectations! Layered tropical fruits on foundation of subtle butterscotch. Good acidity - almost minerally - kept the wine fresh. Held up very well over 90 minutes of drinking. Plan on enjoying my remaining bottles over the next 2 - 3 years.

Drinking well. Soft, round mouthfeel with very fine tannins. Presents cherry with a hint of current. No evidence of oak. Medium length finish. Plan on drinking the remaining bottles over the next 1 - 2 years.

Pleasant aromatics show dark fruit, meat and subtle earth. Thinness on the palate results in somewhat austere profile. Medium, somewhat chalky finish suggests that the wine is towards the end of its life. Drink through 2016 at most.

Needed ~ 45 minutes to open up. Balanced, spicy red fruit, classic Russian River pine forest floor, clean acidity, moderately long finish. Paired very well with charcoal seared Ahi Tuna.
