Consistently good, but this may be shutting down. On night one, it was so-so, with only a few pockets of energy/freshness. Day 2 showed some VA for the first 30 minutes, then it slowly subsided. One glass remained on day 3 and it was once more at its best level. I'll sit on remaining bottles for 2-3 years. HOLD. NR

3/21/21, 10:32 AM - We recently enjoyed the first bottle of a case. Based on this note, I will wait for a couple of years before trying again. I assume that this wine has years of life ahead.

PnP. This is probably my 10th or so time with this since release, and it seems it has (or at least this bottle, anyway) shifted for a darker red fruit spectrum. with some tree resin, and tobacco firmly in the background. By the final glass, there's a med/full body, with avg+ complexity, avg+ acidity, and avg+ structure. There's some additional freshness, by now, with some complex red/white flowers, and a touch of leather now in the mix. Great now with a minimum of aeration, but I'm going to hold my remaining five for ~2 more years before I begin to (slowly) drink them down. Should remain in a preferred plateau past 2030+. Organically grown, excellent value; 14,0% abv. highly recommended+

This was good, but not $140 good. The dominant flavors were chocolate, butter, and oak. It was on the fat side.

This was our only bottle of this wine, purchased at the winery. I don't know if it is representative of the vintage, but if it is, I'd say to those who possess bottles, to drink now, as it doesn't have the acidity for further aging. Realistically worth about $28, if purchased without the label.

Drank with Kelly for Valentines Day. Overly sweet fruit bomb. Almost syrup-like sweet juice. Not many redeeming qualities. I still have some which we will drink eventually I’m sure, but I quit buying it after 2013.

I adore this wine. Big cherry fruit accented by earth and subtle tar notes. Brings back memories of our visit to the winery. Not widely available in the US, but worth seeking.

Oxidized. Somewhat drinkable, but really only good for cooking.
