Really nice classic Kistler flavors. viscous, smooth, consistent. Don't think it will improve, but in a good spot now. little lemon, flowers. smooth, good acid.

perfectly appropriate California Cab. dry, balanced, finish was a little short or score would be higher. tobacco, leather, red and purple fruit, sweet black currants. drink now if you've got it. A few secondary notes, but donlt think it will develop much more.

deep fruit. dried cranberry, dark fruit, floral aroma, really well balanced and long finish. requires real contemplation. secondary aromas of grilled meat and dry tobacco. intense. kept evolving in the glass. real eye opener to what central coast rhoneish wines can be. something in common with SQN.

Yummy. lots of fruit and flavor. green apple skin. lemon zest. smooth, finish is a bit clipped or score would be higher. Likely to improve over the next three years.

Good, not great. The nose was great. The wine was a little unbalanced and bitter or the score would be higher. decent amount of fruit, dark fruit. relatively short finish. concentrated.

In a nice place. Some secondary character, but not a lot. Age has improved by mellowing and revealing good balance. red fruit, a little bit of zip to it.

very smooth, a bit understated. probably would have benefited from a longer decant (than 30 minutes). last glass was best. deep earthy smoky note plenty of fruit.

A wonderfully pleasant surprise. Found several bottles I had forgotten about as I was organizing. Figured it was way OTH. Popped and poured....lovely. Light, smooth but definite fruit. A bit of leather and roses on the nose.
