Pnp review - still cold from the cellar but much more impressive than in previous years. Nice cherry cola, smooth, balanced acidity. Will update as the night progresses. Very satisfied so far

This wine is very enjoyable if you approach it as a Pinot Noir and not a Zin. I understand that makes no sense but you'll have to trust me. It's drinking very well right now but with the cherry notes and elegance it is not a heavy typical Turley. Don't be disappointed that it's not a big Turley Zin, appreciate the fact that Turley made a killer Pinot using Zin grapes

Nothing wrong with it but strong bitter cranberry notes. It'll pair nicely with our turkey pot pie but definitely not one of our favorite Turleys, and not a typical Turley. Happy it's our last bottle. If you have them drink them.

Absolutely fantastic stuff. Pop and pour but we'll take our time with it. Dense, rich, fun to smell and savor. It's going to pair beautifully with these steaks!

In reading the notes on this one and seeing that the most recent review was from five years ago and Parker said to drink by 2021 I started to wonder if we waited too long on this and wasted a bottle.

We were very pleasantly surprised. There's tons of cherry fruit, it hasn't turned at all and isn't throwing crazy sediment. We do cellar at 60 in a Eurocave so I'm sure that helped this wine last but I think this is drinking beautifully. I suppose I would recommend drinking this in the next few years to anyone sitting on it but don't be turned off by the "thin" reviews. While it's not a big powerful fruit bomb, it still has wonderful cherry notes and is very enjoyable. Parker nailed this wine:

"Struts Pinot Noir-like delicacy with its fragrance of earth, red and black cherries, raspberries and currants. Red-fruited, spicy and earthy"

Delicious, if you know what to expect! This is VERY soft. Tons of fruit, slightly sweet, very pleasant. Not sure where this will go in a few years because if any of the slight tannin drops off this could be a jammy mess. Right now it's a beautiful sipper, no food required, super easy drinking and enjoyable

Definitely not your typical Orin Swift high alcohol (although it's still 15.5%) fruit bomb but interesting nonetheless. Definitely more Grenache notes than Zin/Syrah - drinks more like a full bodied Pinot than a Syrah/Zin blend. I don't understand why Cellar tracker has such a short drinking window on this. It will last at least five years

Delicious! Typical SLH Pinot bold flavors and racy. We would probably want to drink our other two within a few years

This wine is beautiful right now. Elegant berry fruit, long finish. We're happy we have two bottles left I think this can go at least a few more years but it's delicious right now

Classic HA. Enjoyed with Pinsa, following a Mouton so it showed with extra fruit and power. These wines are such fun to smell and savor. Would probably last decades but we can't resist them after ten years.

As others have said, not a typical Turley. Definitely some herbaceousness/green notes, nice nose, we don't see this getting better from here so we'll drink our last bottle within the year. Drinks a lot like a Pinot Noir, which is fine when you're expecting Pinot but maybe not so much when you want a Zin.

Enjoyable but needs to be consumed within a year or so. Slight raisin finish, otherwise absolutely nothing wrong with it, just won't get much better from here. Very solid, full bodied, long finish

On second night, upping this to a 93, nose is still there, wine is still very full bodied and flavorful. I just can't see this getting much better and we'll drink our last bottle within the year

Drinking very nicely. No signs of being past its prime but definitely in a great place right now and we can't imagine it getting much better. Smooth cherry cola flavors and a typical Pinot finish. Drink em up

We're shocked by this wine. Every Hundred Acre we've ever had (and it's a lot) have been dense and memorable. This one pours so light like a Pinot, and lacks all density. Never had an HA like this. Will give it time but very disappointed considering the pedigree.

Not sure if this would have been better a few years ago but we're not thrilled with it. Bitter like others commented. We have another one and will drink asap but will revisit this tomorrow and hope that something happens because this isn't like any Turley we're familiar with

Good but light and soft. I feel like there's not many years left to this one. Happy it's our last bottle. If you have multiples definitely pop and pour one

Election night bottle. Better the second night, softened a little of the bitterness from night one. Or maybe that was the election. Great nose, long finish, not hedonistic. Probably five years or so in the prime drinking window in my opinion but we aren't huge fans of killing a wine with age.

Pop and pour. Color doesn't show almost a decade of age. Beautiful nose, expressive fruit, long finish. Really enjoyable.

We did save a glass or so for the next day and it was really amazing. Softened up even more. This wine can last at least another five years

Fantastic - kept getting better. Night 3 was my favorite so I feel like this still has a ways to go, not peaking in my opinion. This was our last bottle but if I had more I'd wait a year or so longer.

Punches well above its weight class. Pop and pour, has beautiful depth and flavor. Will add notes if necessary on night two. Happy to have more of these, plenty of time left but singing now

Drinking beautifully right now. We're thrilled to have a few more to enjoy over the next few years. No signs of falling apart even on night two.

Significantly better on night two than night one. Very reserved/boring on first night. Opened up night two. If you have one save it or decant. This unfortunately was our only bottle

Our last bottle was utterly delicious over two nights with no decant. If you've got a few of them try it now. Reminded me of a baby SQN with the dense Blueberry notes. Maybe it tasted so good because the Sox are winning in the playoffs, it's the Bruins opening night and the Revs are the best team in the league.

Drinking really well right now. Not your typical powerful Turley but not quite Pinot Noir either like another person mentioned. Seems to have some time left, not falling apart, not flabby. Little heat in finish, perfect for our snowy night

Election 2020 - decided to pop a Five Shooter and watch the world burn. Will update as the night goes on.

Pop and pour, meat leaps out of the glass even at cellar temp. It's going to be a long and delicious night

This is a baby. We're happy we have another to try in a few years. We'll try to save some of the bottle for tomorrow night to see if it evolves like the review below states and pop the second bottle in five years.

Easter 2020. Drank with tenderloin and mushrooms. Only an hour of decant due to age and reviews. Started off old - prunes and baking spices. Evolved over a few hours. The prune/dried fruit blew off a bit but there are very few tannins left and we put this firmly in the "drink em if you've got em" camp.

I feel like I'm in an alternate universe. We drank one of these in Nov 2019 and one in Jan 2020 and they were both just ok at best and seemed to be past their prime. We had two bottles left and to say we weren't excited to drink them would be an understatement.
We decided to give our second to last bottle a few days - four in fact. Night three and night four were actually impressive. This leads me to believe that the wine may be in a "shut down" phase which is why everyone is currently disliking it.
We will be saving our last bottle for a few years to see if it evolves past this awkward phase. Night four of this Turley Cab was so good I wish we didn't rush through those other two bottles and were a little more patient.

I feel badly for all of the people who apparently opened this too soon. It's singing right now. Right from the pop of the cork it has beautiful chocolate cherry notes and bright acidity and none of the bland and harsh tannins that others are mentioning. Our last bottle, not sure it would get much better. This one has everything where it's supposed to be in my opinion.

Closed up on day 2 and became very tannic. I would pop and drink this and not decant or wait until day 2.

My wife and I are not regular Champagne drinkers and were concerned when the latest Equinox was a champagne by a producer who has no experience with the style. We were pleasantly surprised with this offering. Not a super dry and yeasty Champagne, Phinney made this very approachable and bold like all of his other wines. Not sure how this will age or if it's "worth" $100 but we enjoyed it!
