Wine makes me happy and has taught me about life.

I’ve learned not to defer happiness for a potentially better outcome down the road. I’m trying to be more hedonistic and enjoy things as they come.

I’ve learned that a transcendent experience can’t be recreated by buying the same stuff and doing it again. You can’t swim in the same river twice.

I’ve learned that money matters and can buy you nicer things. But pricier things also carry the weight of expectations and may not provide the same thrill that comes from an experience that’s simple yet complete.
