This is singing right now. Popped and poured through aerator. Dark ruby color; great body and full flavor. Very pleasant surprise. I think this could age for several more years still.

The wine is ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is little sediment in the bottle. Lighter cherry flavors with a narrow texture and a shorter finish. Drink up.

Dark claret color; Nose exhibits strong dark fruits and is promising, but the wine itself is thinner and does not match up with the same depth. Very short finish for what I would expect for this producer. Still had good enough body, but does not stand out.

Simplistic and thin; sour fruit flavors and light; disappointing based on other single vineyard efforts from vintage; don't see much to expect from wine in future.

The fruit is fading; still has some structure, but not enough to really take much more time in the bottle; drink up.

Not as impressive 2 years after I last tasted this; doesn't seem to be fading, just a bit muddled; perhaps shutting down now; popped and poured, so perhaps it needed more time to open up

One of the best KWs I have ever had; so dense and full of flavor; perfect balance; dark berries and earthy mushrooms; long finish; pop it if you have it because this is in its prime.

Had to write a note on this given the number of bottles in the community and absence of any comments in the last three years; wow!; still has excellent body and balance; great sparkler that is still going strong and is not as heavy as argyle vintage brut can be; what a deal

Popped and poured and served with takeout Smoque barbecue; so smooth; not a trait you expect much from a zin, but this one has such great depth and balance and is not overwhelming with the dried raisin, pepper flavors you might expect from a zin. this wine is tasting great now; great with food and went really fast for us too.

Popped and poured. Not my favorite Carlisle syrah, but it could just be in a young phase as some have mentioned below; bit of heat, lot of pepper and anise; much better on day 2
