Intense incense nose when first opened but given over an hour to breath this really opened up and lifted to be rich and full of fruit. May be hard to pair with food, although if done would be best with smokey or gamey flavored red meats. Might try my next bottle with venison or lamb chops. A wonderful wine, very unique and should be enjoyed slowly to fully appreciate.
