No doubt the best value of any of the Kitchak offerings.

To satisfy millions of Riesling fans, I tried a 2nd bottle of this wine. I even enlisted the help of friends and neighbors whose palates are allegedly as unbiased as that of an average non-wino consumer. Unanimous verdict by 5 people: yuck. It's not a flawed, cooked or otherwise damaged bottle, it's just poorly made. I don't know how this can be a Spatlese, the RS is barely present. It tastes like a Kabinett or a slightly sweet non-Pradikat wine. Will it be better with age? I don't know...but I doubt it. Personally I am not buying more of this.

Way too young

2/15/17, 4:44 PM - Wine changes with time. It can be an 85 at an early stage and 92 later or vice versa. I like young and old Riesling, it's not a crime to be young and misunderstood. This particular bottle didn't strike me as being better than 'good', thus the rating. I have a few more bottles, will drink them all in pursuit of happiness and world peace and record another TN.
