I'm always sketchy of Bordeaux blends grown and aged so high up from the valley floor. I've been to Cain and the last 12 bottles I paid for were....were just mediocre. However this bottle was fantastic a mear 13 yrs later...fancy that. Acidity down with all the fruit and ethereal components showing. I've found this with Pinot on the high Sonoma Coast. Hirsch etc. ...it takes time

As noted by others, opened way too young. I've been enjoying this blend from Ridge for over 20 yrs. Luckily there's more bottles for the 2020's!

Great wine yet unremarkable next to our Rudd and Flowers Pinot. Drink now, no decanting required.

Forgot this puppy back in the cellar. wow! I'm with the previous two posters. As a 9yr Pinot it was fruit on the way out but totally integrated with a wonderful mouthfeel & finish. Foxen is one of my top 5 to purchase and great people.

Just a fantastic wine for being so young. Drink now and order 3 more for the future. Love this place.

I'd swear on the nose and first sip there was Syrah in this! A fine wine, not too much fruit in my bottle, but just enough of everything else to keep it interesting.

As always, another amazing wine from the Dehlinger Family....a CA Pinot at 12 yrs! You always worry about drinking a CA Pinot older than 8yrs but of the 4 'old' bottles of Dehlinger I have gulped over the past 3 months, only one was flat.
This one is so well balanced nose/acidity/fruit/mouthfeel/alcohol/finish that there is not much to say. Always a fan. Glad I have another 12 Dehlingers coming next week!

A nice easy drinking Burgundy and fair value around $40. Strawberry some red flowers and even a little funk on the nose. Would like a little more body and longer finish. We'll check it again in a couple of years.

I have been drinking Tom Dehlinger's wines for almost 20 yrs now and am always amazed at not only the ageability, but how (once again) the same bottle changes year after year. In this case, the '07, this is sadly my final bottle of 6.
This wine is so well integrated at this point: appearance, nose, acidity, fruit, minerality, and finish all marrying harmoniously. What once was bright strawberry, acidity, and short finish has evolved to baked strawberry, rose petals, mushroom, granite, and damp leaf. Finish is a delight minutes later.
Happy Thanksgiving.
