Beau nez de fleurs séchées, belle acidité en bouche, sur le fruit. Très agréable, seulement 13 % d’alcool. A bien résister sur les côtelettes d’agneau. Bon rqp.

Au nez, une belle complexité avec du graphite et des fruits noirs. En bouche les tannins sont parfaitement intégrés soyeux avec une belle finale allongée.

Bel équilibre. Au nez on sent le bois et les fruits noirs. En bouche, le bois est parfaitement intégré avec les fruits noirs une finale toute en délicatesse et finesse, belle persistance. A noter que le vin prends 2h pour s,ouvrir pleinement.

Je l’avais oublié dans la cave. Quelle surprise de le découvrir encore tout en finesse, tannins fondus avec un bel équilibre, sans défauts. Évidemment manque de fruits maintenant mais toujours très bon. Surprenant de longévité pour le RQP.

Left one year in the cellar. Nice golden copper colour that hints of Pinot noir. The bubbles are nice, not too big. On the nose, moderate brioche notes. Lots of citrus notes, green apple.

Upon opening, very nice and complex nose with crushed petal roses, small dark berries. The noses fades away quickly to leave room to more mature red fruits, cherries that follow through in the mouth. Pleasant round feeling with medium length and integrated tannins. Pleasant experience.

Surprisingly, still lots of fruits for an 11 year old village savigny. Upon opening, the acidity and tannins are very present. I had it over two days and found that it was better the second day, dark forest fruits, blueberries in particular, reminiscent of Morey. Quite enjoyable right now.

Still shows lots of tropical fruits on the nose. Nice lemony tones on the palate, starting to loose its power and fading a bit. Agree with previous comment, suggest not holding any longer.

Upon opening very interesting interplay of dry matchsticks, wet stone notes with fruity lemony tones. There is a little fizz that adds a sense of freshness.

Burgundy producer in Corsica. Upon opening, the wines is very fresh and balanced at 12 %, difficult to imagine in a warm climate. The following day, more mature fruits come out, perhaps a bit of southern Garrigues notes? It will be difficult to wait however as it is so drinkable.

On the nose, notes of kirsch, followed by mature sherries in the mouth. Acidity is still there, but I feel it is loosing its balance with an aftertaste on the alcoholic side. I don’t think it will improve over time.

I find it is a bit close on the nose and lacks overall complexity. No layers here or complex aromas (did not detect the viognier). However, it compensates with soft tannins, light peppery notes, good freshness of fruit (13.9% alcohol) and drinkability. Enjoyable everyday wine for a light lunch.

Dust and mature (macerated) fruits on the nose. Remarkable balance in the mouth. Very enjoyable now but shows sufficient strength to last a couple more years. Recommend decanting for one hour.

Great finesse and velvety/silky touch on the palate upon opening. Tannins and wood fully integrated. A bit shorter on the following day, the fruit is less expressive now vs when drunk younger. Worth the wait though. Drink now.

Drank alongside the 2008 and showed more terroir specificity with some Smokey notes on the nose. On the palate, great length, minerality and balance. Showed some oxidative notes indicating that perhaps it is at its peak.

The highlight of a récent pinot gris Tasting. Two years after the first one and what a difference aging made, the residual sugar has disappeared to make room to incredible acidity (close to 8g/l tartric), great length and ethereal lightness. Atypical year so if you have the opportunity to get a hold of a few bottles, don’t hesitate.

Surprising weight and complexity to this wine that offers tremendous value. Golden colour, with complex notes of honey, wax, with mature fruits, candied lemon. I find the aftertaste lingers for a very long time that will leave you with a fond memory. A wine to meditate on or surprise friends with food.

Drank a bottle at a blind tasting with friends and while it showed great finesse and good length, it lacked tertiary notes and overall complexity at this stage compared to an old vine Gevrey from another producer. Suggest waiting a bit before opening.

Dark cherry notes on the nose. You would anticipate a heavy wine with mature fruits. On the contrary, the acidity keeps it fresh and juicy. A velvet glove surrounding the tannins. Good lenght.

Best performing small winery in 2018 at Canadian wine awards. Powerful and warm ( 14.2% alcohol) in a hot year. Mature fruits and full bodied. Good with BBQ meat. Decant before drinking.

Light citrus notes on the nose, you can perceive the mineral (flint.) side of the wine right away with a beautiful follow trough on the palate. No excess fruit, everything is well integrated. Would not wait any longer. Bought at the winery, good food with a view of the vineyard, ideal for a brunch between tastings.

Typical riesling on the nose overall impression reminds me of a german mosel riesling with the acidic, mineral, citric tones. There is also some fruitiness (grapefruit?) but it is not what defines this wine. Might be a characteristic of the vintage as I have tasted other vintages with more fruit.

Superbe fruit au nez, lime, ananas, pamplemousse. Côté fume, boisé. Belle mineralite. Bon rapport qualite prix. À l,aveugle, pas sure qu'on le localise en NZ. Belle découverte.

Tasted with friends wight a flight of northern Rhodes. The wood is superbly integrated, beautiful notes on the palate that linger for long. Drink now.
