From a tasting. This is pretty good, nice and fresh with good balance throughout. Took it's time to open up and whilst the fruit and tannin were in reasonably harmony it lacked any really interesting secondary notes. I have a bottle to see how it will develop as the tannins soften but it's a pretty expensive bottle so I hope it gains a bit more complexity.

Very good, at a £12.50 knockdown price this is a belter. Fine, mature, Mostly black but some red fruit, oaking richness evident but not dominant. Tannins there but not at all severe. Very good. Picked up a bunch of 2006 at the same price.

2/3/14, 2:48 PM - I think I got lucky - local co-op was having a refurb and they were selling a few wines off - I got some 04s and 06s at £12.50, down from about £26 (which I think is over the odds)
