From memory
Nose was a bit muted from beginning but opened up nicely - notes of wild flowers, more parfume than fruit.
Taste was very elegant, cherries, stems(?) that made it fresh and enjoyable.
The wine is settled and open for business. Not quite as good as I recall ‘17 but still a joy to drink.

Buy again if possible.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise.
Kind of funky/beaujolais thing going on…with nice acidity.
Keep it cool.

Just lovely, pure “Verduno fruit” from a great producer.

(On day 2 it was not interesting)

Beautiful light color.
Elegant notes of rose pedals and rhubarb.
Gentle tannins given the young age.
It was nice, perhaps a bit simple…

Another star wine from Fratelli A.
Nice core of fruit with cherry stones and a chalky (signature) finish.
As other mentioned elegant for the vintage.

Wife’s birthday dinner - drank with Gaja Dragomis ‘16 and B. Mascarello ‘12 🍷

Faiveley handled the heat very well in 2018.
As usual “Clos de L’ecu” was a treat - enjoyed with friends and paired with “2100 - Boeuf Bourguignon”

Darker profile, classic Beaune parfume - crushed blue/red berries, cherry stone, “butter milk acid”. Nicely balanced and a long finish👌🏻
Red
Last bottle from 2015.

Elegant basis barolo - I don’t think it will get better than this (from cellariing), at least not for my taste.

Note: Look out for Langhe Neb from top producers at the same price level.

Beautiful colour, light to medium.
Notes of forest floor and small strawberries.
Tightly knitted, great balance.
More traditional than modern - one for the “nebbiolo lovers”.

Darker color.
Sour cherries, Rosemary, tea leaves.
Raw, red fruit - classic style.

Paired with bolognese - we like it.

Buy producers wine again.

Very enjoyable and surprisingly developed at this point.
Cherries, herbs, tobacco and menthol coolness - we loved it and finished the bottle early.

Buy again👏🏻
Red
Wild green strawberries, rose petals, gum.
Elegant and seductive - very nice!
White
Seems to have found a perfect balance - more rank and elegant than earlier.
Remarkable notes of dry lemon, Hasselnut, Iron, stones…
Great QPR.

(From memory) Nose is fruit forward and so is the palate.
Notes of Raspberry, mushroom/truffel, bit of liqour.
Medium/high tannins, well integrated.
As expected the style is modern and seductive.

Paired with homemade pizza and nice company. Side-by-side G.D. Vajra Abel, '15.
Both bottles were fab. and open for business.
Red
Needs time to open up - darker fuit, spice and structure. It is well made, clearly 2018 / warm.
Not bad, however I do prefer ‘17 over this (again).

2018 Istine Chianti Classico Chianti Classico DOCG Sangiovese Blend, Sangiovese (view label images)
Impressive fruit, Sangiovese in it’s puriest way. So fresh and irresistable.
All components are in perfect balance - and this might be catch of the year. Respect.

Strawberry, dark cherries, fine pipe tobacco notes and some earth - after few hours remarkable spearmint is dominating the nose in a very pleasant way.

The perbacco is always a treat - and the ‘18 vintage is no dissapoiment.
Red
Had this alongside G. Barthod, BR. ‘18.

Dark purple colour -notes of cherries, bitter dark chocolate and spices.
Drinking so well already - and will be interesting to follow over the next few years.

A very nice and grippy Sangiovese. Red fruit dominating with tea bag and mentol swirling in the nose and cleaning the mouth. There is a nice balance here.
You can tell the tobacco / leather notes will show up with time - however I will prefer to drink these young (while waiting for the Brunello).
Red
Raspberry, rose, sea salt and then a chalky note… that I happen to like a lot!
It carries the charm of the vintage - a suptle and a very fine Chambolle village.
Red
Beautiful light color.
Notes if red berries, licquore and earth.
Tannins are well balanced.
The style is fresh and very approachable.

A real charmer, to drink now …and to buy again.

Rich nose of strawberry, tobcco, licorice, all the classic stuff. Palate a bit harsch/warm (2015?) and there is still development ahead. Serve chilled with red meat - concider decant with next bottle.
Red
Grippy tannins, high acid - notes of sour cherries, some Tobacco / leather. Let it breath and melt together.
Drink now and enjoy the firework.
Red
Light and beautiful.
Fresh red berries, Beaune parfume and bonfire notes (dissappeared after some time).
Modern domaine trademarks.
Young but ready in my view.

Good things going in here -and remarkable more weight / balance than last time.
Darker cherries, smooooth Tobacco notes on both nose and palate and that crispy “Felsina acid”.
Make sure to drink these while the wind is still blowing.

Brimming nose of cherries, rose pedals and some mentol.
The palate is spicy and has a fine, sandy structure -with some stoney / mineral notes.

Bruno Clair is to be trusted.
Red
Really enjoyed this one - mix of small reds, green strawberry, pomegranate - very defined, mouthwatering acidity that is just lovely. Mineral notes, too.

Juicy, red berries popping out of the bottle -nicely balanced with green stilky notes. Fresh and aromatic.
Buy again.
Red
Candied red berries, pepper - blind tasting one would be possibly go for Beaujolais.
This is smooth and edgy at the same time.
Bobal... ... ...
Red
(From memory) drank side-by-side with Marchand-Tawse, Vosne Romanee ‘16.
Darker colour, nose bursting of cherries and gun powder.
The palate is fresh and very experessive - cherries, pomegranate, masculine / gevrey notes.
We liked it!
Burgundy, 2014 👍🏻

(From memory) Mouthwatering, fine notes of unripe red/green forrest berries, nice acidity -and it all comes together very well. A bit reductive and showing best on day 2.
Berthaut-G is (also) doing well at this level.

Rather dark color with tiny “water rim”
Nose a bit closed at first but opens up with cherries, pomegranate and bonfire.
Taste kind of the same -cherries and gun powder.

It like it at this young stage but, for sure, it will develope nicely over the years.
