Always a treat to drink Fred's wines and something as straightforward as essentially an entry level zin is just a sublime treat. Great body, acid is solid but balanced.

Damn tasty. Got that bit of Washington Syrah funk with some good cab fruit elements. Needs another one or two years, but drinking well now.

5/4/21, 7:33 PM - Somehow I actually opened bottle 2 almost two years following this note. Really Syrah dominant with what called to my mind some grenache tones, hint of garrigue, and rocks. Lots of rocks. (first night open using new qikvin)
