The first day is seemed bland but 2nd and 3rd days it opened nicely. Rich black fruit with low tannins. Nice on its own or with salmon and pork.

Visited vineyard while in Tuscany, 2011. Beautiful place and people. Nice Chianti with some tannins. Light color. Good with heavy pasta and strong cheese.
