Deep purple black color. Rich cedary nose with lots going on, black cherry, mint, rosemary, black pepper, violets all wafting from the glass. Big chewy mouthfeel with the nose notes and ripe plum. Complex rich wine that continues to open up. Love it!

Bright deep cherry color. Cherry, violet, and a hint of oak on the nose. Pleasant cherry and blackberry flavors. A bit astringent on the tongue at first taste but after just a bit of air the astringency blows off and the tannins present themselves in softer tones. Medium finish. Excellent value.

Medium garnet color. Cherry and mint nose with a slight hint of earth and maybe yeast. Bone dry with bright acid and evident tannins but the cherry is more subdued on the tongue. Not sure I'd identify it as Burgundian in a blind tasting but it's pleasant enough and a decent value.

Very pale golden straw hue. Lemon and bread dough on the nose. Crisp, dry, brilliant acidity. Nectarine and lemon flavors. Excellent spring wine. Hope I can find it again for summer picnics!

Pretty wine. Light garnet. Cranberries, raspberry, sage and rosemary on the nose's first impression. Medium acid, crisp raspberry and cranberry flavors. Medium body and finish. Worked well with grilled lamb chops.

Deep garnet color. Rich ripe black plum aromas along with a dose of grape jelly. Intensely fruity, almost jammy so I can see why some would feel it is sweet but to me it's loaded with plum and grapey flavors while on the drier side. Certainly bigger bodied and fruitier than previous vintages I've had. Still a very pleasant wine for the price. Enjoying it right now with spicy Indian cuisine and the jammy fruit of the wine pairs very well with the cuisine heat. Medium finish. I'd definitely buy it again.

Medium ruby garnet color. Nose of cranberries and pie cherries along with fragrant but delicate oak. Swirling the glass brings some warm cinnamon notes to the foreground. Medium bodied and a hint of alcohol heat but the rich silky cherry fruit bring things back in balance.

Surprisingly deep garnet and purple hue at year seven. Concentrated plum and blackberry notes in the nose with maybe a hint of rosemary and dust. Lush rich red fruit and firm tannins point to some good years ahead still. Medium finish. Paired wonderfully today with grilled lamb chops.

Need to find a few more bottles asap! What a gorgeous "baby Margaux" as such sourced across the road from Dauzac. Deep purple and garnet in color. Rich blackberry and violet nose. Bold tannins, lingering finish. Tight structure. A few more years and it may be a stunner. 69% Cab. 31% Merlot.

Medium garnet in color. Smoky cherry notes with just a hint of vanilla. Full rich bing cherry palate, bone dry but still a bit restrained. May need more time to develop but overall a very lovely wine.

What a fabulous value! Garnet with with a bit of age on the edges. Soft vanilla and berry on the nose. Some smokiness and sage come through too. Loads of flavor and complexity with each sip. Chewy tannins point to a good future too. Well balanced, well made.

Agree with Atwellian this is an excellent QPR value at under $10. Crisp green apple nose and a silky smooth mouthfeel likely from a bit of malolactic fermentation. No discernable oak to the wine. Medium acid, good body, medium finish. I'd definitely buy again.

Bright earthy strawberry nose. Bone dry, spicy strawberry, tart cherry flavors. Fairly light bodied but well balanced and lively on the tongue. Perfect pizza or meatballs with red sauce wine. Great value at $8 in Costco! I just picked up three more bottles to keep on hand for pizza night.

Very pretty bright straw color. Lemons and fresh hay in the nose. Biggest surprise is the rich body, almost luscious. Off-dry, medium acid. Peach, pear, lemon all in the soft well balanced flavors. Impressive.

New Years Eve! Pale golden color with a pretty pinkish orange hue. Fresh hay and fresh baked bread aroma. Crisp, bone dry, excellent acid. Green apple and nectarine flavors. Very good condition for being 15 years old! Fairly short finish but a very pleasant bubbly.

Vibrant grapey raspberry nose. If I were tasting this blind, I may well have erred in identifying it as a village Beaujolais perhaps. Big expansive grapey flavor. Low tannins, low acid, medium bodied, short finish. Pleasant wine.

This one was in my kitchen wine rack way too long, maybe about 15 years too long so I pulled the cork yesterday hoping it would be still ok for using in a braised brisket for Christmas Eve dinner. I did use half the bottle for the brisket but wow, the wine is still in very very good condition. Very little browning on the edges, ripe plums, ripe blackberries and old cedar in the nose. No raisin or prune notes at all. Again, ripe black fruit in the flavors, tobacco, and chewy cedar still showing. Still has loads of fruit and soft tannins and a medium finish. Impressive at its age! Whoever the winemaker was 23 years ago, bravo!

A lusty rich well made Syrah and a good value! Big peppery red fruit note with hints of mint, cedar, and black pepper. Same on the palate except the black pepper jumps out even more. Medium tannins and acid, well balanced. Grilling lamb chops right now to pair with this beauty. Well done Bedrock team.

A hint of purple in the black cherry color. Blackberry, cherry, cedar and a slight bit of mint on the nose. Well balanced with the same flavors as in the nose. A bit of tartness softens when swirled in the mouth. Medium tannins. Medium finish. Pleasant but I'm not sure it would develop any more with age than where it is now.
