Dark ruby rose color. Full bodied, noticeable legs. Opened up after a 2 hour decant. Medium tannins, soft and noticeable. Black currant and tart.

Deep ruby red color with medium/strong viscosity. Notes of strawberry, cherry, and tobacco. High on tannins. Excellent now and very drinkable, but the tannins should mellow out after a few years in the cellar.

Excellent wine (in brief) but I think the prior reviews were right: this will benefit from a little more bottle aging. Viscous, rich, a little tight on the palate. I did not decant it, which probably would have helped in hindsight.

Tight and with alcohol on the nose. Aromas of spice, cassis. Sour tannins and other dark fruit, sour plum.

Medium bodied, with bright red fruits (strawberry) and even a bit of sour cherry on the palate. A bit tight on the nose, with notes of leather. Overall very drinkable and would go lovely with light foods and appetizers, or tomato sauce pastas. Zippy and bright too, albeit without that much acid or minerality. A very drinkable and well balanced Sangiovese, if a bit on the light and tight side. Will probably benefit from some air and/or bottle aging, but definitely drinking well right now.

Incredibly light color, almost translucent. Notes of strawberry, sour plum, and other red fruits. Sourness mellowed out after decant. Elegant but a bit too light in body for me. An easy drinking and well done wine though.

Lighter than expected, with a bit of spice. Probably too young. Excellent notes of spice, mint. June 2019.

The other reviews of this wine are really on point. Dark, spicy, a bit tannic. Needs a few more years of age. Excellent but too young right now (June 2019). Representative of what you’d expect of protypical Sangiovese.

A beautiful wine. Medium / full bodied, with nice (high) acidity. Notes of leather, tobacco, blueberry, and black currants; black pepper and prune on the nose. 1 hour decant at The Modern. Pairs great(ly) with truffles and earthy foods.

Light on the body, with a pale ruby hue. Smooth, with mild tannins. Raspberry notes and overall bright on the palate with red fruits. Medium / low acid. Very drinkable alone or with light food.

A fine medium-bodied Pinot with medium acid. Very soft tannins. Notes of raspberry, plum, and orange; with medium power on the fruit. Notes of oak and a soft finish. Red fruit really shines and comes out after 30+ mins of decant. This continues to get brighter with more raspberry notes after an hour.

A full bodied wine with medium / low acidity. Big tannins. Notes of spice, sour, and tobacco. Not that expressive at first ... needed to mellow out and decant. An hour in the decanter helped. I think it could use a few years of bottle aging.

Notes of sour cherry, black pepper, and prune. A very short finish at first, without much body. Needs to be decanted / opened for a bit. A bit tart. Notes of cedar, pepper, and Imani. Tannins a little grippy.
