True expression of a CA Chardonnay. Not over oaked, full bodied, creamy vanilla mouthfeel with slightly tart finish.

Not as good as the 2015 in my opinion. More acidic and less chocolate on the palate. Shorter finish - maybe needs more time.

Little tart on the nose. Interesting finish that lingers and changes from cherry to anise. Really good Pinot

Great leathery blackberry aroma and not that tannic. Opened up quite a bit and changed from glass 1 to 2 with more complexity and spice in the second glass. Long finish with a nice taper.

I taste mint and smell the sea. Wonderful and unique cab tasted at the heitz tasting room. Staff told me they think it gets the minty flavor from a eucalyptus grove by the vineyard. Love this wine

A little spicy on the nose with pepper, anise and leather. On the palate I’m getting some cherry and oak followed by a mid length lighter finish.
