Typical Rueda - nothing extraordinary - good value for money. Citrus and herbs on the nose, medium body, medium acidity, more citrus and herbs on the palate. Good

Perfect time to drink. This is like a spicy (due to Malbec) version of Rioja (due to tempranillo). Really really good!. On the nose I get forest floor, mushroom, coffee, black pepper, blackberry and a whiff of vanilla. On the palate this is very smooth and round with well integrated tannins, perfect balance and taste of blackberry, coffee and black pepper. The body is medium/full. Long finish

This one never opened up and together with a constant bitterness and massively heavy bottle annoyed me a lot. Don't bother.

Drank slightly chilled in very hot weather. Low acidity and mild tannins, black cherry and some sweet spice on the nose and palate. Better than a rose and went well with pasta

As with most Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige this was decent, with medium body and acidity, a respectable finish , peach, pear and citrus on the nose. Good

This lacks a bit of structure and could do with a touch more acidity. But other than that smooth wine with ripe fruit some pepper and good finish.

Coffee and ripe black/red fruit on the nose. Medium+ body, low acidity, low tannins and a short, sweet finish with some bitter element. Heat from the high (15%) alcohol. This is ready to drink (if not slightly past it now). Didn't enjoy.

This needed some breathing time to calm down. Blackcurrants and red berries on the nose full body, some sweetness at the finish. The 15% alcohol is obvious. Good winter wine

I was expecting a lot more based on the reviews and a previously tasted white from the same estate. This didn't live up to the expectations. Never opened up despite decanting and apart from well integrated tannins there wasn't much more to it. Shame
