Had after a 2003 Pride Reserve. This held its own. Still some bold fruit. It had been well cellared since purchase.

This was the top wine in the "Drink Now" list so I opened it when I got home after a wine dinner. While it didn't taste young, it was not over the top. A mature cab with an excellent taste! At the end of a good life, and it would have been better 5 years ago, it was still very good.

Although older, it is still bright and the fruit has held up well under the screw cap! Lasted through a complete dinner, and beat out a couple of younger pinots.

Even though I had to put in some extra work getting out the cork, the wine was beautiful. Very close to the peak, even though the drink by date has come and gone. Nice dark fruit notes, no bricking and a nice long finish. I have a few left, which should go in the next year.

Had with a homemade paella with chicken, sausage, shrimp and clams. Set the dish off very well. Slight citrusy notes from the Semilon along with the fruitiness of the muscadelle brought out the saffron notes from the dish. Wish I had more, and I am a red wine drinker!
