Would have thought much, much younger. Delicious, if you like older Rioja.

I like this wine but the Brett gets in the way of something that could probably be much more delicious.

Fresh and clearly whole cluster. These wines seem to drink well young.

CORKED. So f'ing frustrating. Save a wine for 10 years and then it's corked. Wish that would never be a thing.

Yum. This is either your style or it isn't. If it is, you will love it.

Elegant. Gains power with air. But quite pretty overall.

A mind blower. Tastes so fresh. I thought it might be a current vintage wine. Crazy. Tons of life left. Still very primary. Reminded me of Eyrie.

Makes a very compelling case for the use of SO2. Yowza. Tastes like a science experiment from another planet. Maybe that's the point. 🤷

Still a baby. Took about 5 hours decanting to open and really show its stuff. Wine's got soul for sure. Clearly Dundee too.

Solid. Lighter bodied. More PN like. In great shape at 8 years old.

Well made wine that's drinking well now. More time and it'll probably drink even better. And you can't beat the price.

Probably the best domestic Pinot I've had in 5 years. Silly good. Drinking beautifully. I wish I had 20 bottles of this wine.

One of the best Pinot noirs I've had in a while. Great, great juice. Dark and juicy (black cherry/boysenberry) fruit. Some black cherry cola. Nice acidity as well. Great finish. Just a beautiful wine.

This is the best Pinot Blanc I have ever had. Admittedly, I have not had a lot of Pinot Blanc, but this is just plain delicious and I could drink it every day. On the nose it's lemon and lime with a little hint of lovely white cake. It's soft on the palate with some good acid and the lemon/lime is still present, but there's almost a creme brulee component as well. Beautiful, wonderful wine.

A big wine that is ready to drink now. There is an earthy and musky nature to the nose to be sure. Additionally, there is heat. Also on the palate. A bit too much for me, personally. However, for many, this is exactly what they will want, like '06 Willamette or California Pinots (for the most part). Definitely has the cherry and juiciness that makes Pinot. All in all, not my style, but still a good bottle of wine.

Will be interested to see where this one goes. It's drinking well and is quite good, but I had really, really high expectations.

Drink this now. It's still pretty good, but definitely not getting better. I always think Muscat drinks better in its youth though.

This one is starting to really come into its own. Quite lithe. Cranberry & strawberry and cherry. Just good stuff. Would probably wait another 6 months before drinking another one, but it's really drinking well right now. Recommend decanting for sure.

This wine was drinking extremely well. Let it decant for 2 hours and it just started singing. Big and bold, but lovely.

I'm partial to this big guy. Dark cherries. Also cherry cola. Just deep, dark and brooding. Excellent mouthfeel and grip. It's a big wine, so it might not be for purists, but it's quite delicious for those of us open to this type of Pinot. And it easily has years to go.

This wine is still alive for sure. Had at dinner last night. Still very alive. Wouldn't be surprised if that wine could go another 5 years. (Maybe more, but always wary of telling folks to wait too long on older wines.) It even still seemed a little "green" so to speak. Not in a bad way. Just like it was young. It started singing pretty much right out of the bottle, but after about an hour and a half of being open, it was just humming. So delicious. Dark fruit on both the nose and the palate. Would not describe this wine as light and ethereal. It had weight. And a cool complexity underneath. Red hills earth with some spice. And most importantly, it was clean and in balance.

This wine is drinking quite well right now. Actually opened it and had a glass and experienced the notes written by dbp. However, put the cork back in and let it sit for a day, and enjoyed it the second day with dinner. Very good juice. Right at that 89-90 border for me. The acid had really calmed down, and it was luscious. Cherry pie all over the place, plus a good. layered mid-palate. It's very red-cherries and maybe some cola, but all in all, taking price into account, this wine is very good.
