Oak is integrated. I ve had several bottles and they seem to be holding together. I have had a dud that just didnt seem to open a year ago.

The acid is a bit low but oak and gobs of blackberry.... I like it

This bottlle was flooded in hurricane IAN along with many others.

Seems OK, cork was protruning 1/16 of an inch but seems fine

This wine confuses me. Looks like a PN....but smell and taste are just muted. It has some depth but just ared wine to me=wierd.

After a 2 hour decant this wine showed dark fruit that by the end of the nicht was black cherry. Smooth and medium full bodied

I was very impressed with this wine tonight. We ordered it at a very nice restaurant in northern Michigan. The wine was medium full bodied had a nice delivery and smoothness with very nice fruit. For only $52 a bottle on a wine list at a fancy restaurant in Harbor Springs I thought it was outstanding really.

From a coravin I taste one glass and was impressed. Definite heat when first opened it smoothed out with red fruit, boysenberry and a touch of tomato leaf. Tannic but not overly so. Reminds me of a CDP.
