This wine is shut down right now. The fleshy notes of fruit are hiding behind the tannins.

Not a big wine, medium light body. Spice notes of cinnamon and cloves. Light for a merlot -cab franc blend. Better after 2 hours a little more flesh...

Red plums and spices when first opened. Very Bordeaux like, but only medium light in body. I was hoping for a bigger bodied wine. The wine is correct, but just not my style I enjoy.

This is a big wine. When I first popped and pored it was very fleshy and round in full bodied. Then 20 minutes later the tannins really sit in it and it shut down for about an hour and a half. After two hours of being open and it started to open back up. If you have bottles of this hang onto them. Needs 2-3 more years. Cedar notes and a long finish.

Dark, with only a touch of garnet on the rim. Deep black fruits with a touch of plums. Deep notes of cedar, oak and blackberry. Long legs and long on the finish. Still has some tannins. Varnish notes. Drink now thru 5 years.....

The first night this wine was very generic, just tasted like red wine no varietal character. The second night after being kept with the screw on top it has a little more varietal character I can get some cherries and Bayleaf but no cigar box or any other Cabernet characteristics. I’m very disappointed in this wine.

This wine was great at PNP and with 3 people drinking didn't las long. It has great body and a long finish. Really has cedar notes with some high toned aromatics. Dark, no garnet on the rim....I say it can go 2-3 more years....

This wine has real structure and depth. Grippy tannins and dark fruits. Needs time to resolve some of the tannins.

I think this wine has reached peak. Sweet floral nose and medium body. Some tannins left but the fruit is on the down slope slightly.
Second night after vacuvinning. More rounded in body, medium full with black and red fruits. Long finish.

This wine is rich and coming into a great drinking period. Compared to Lot 609 -2014 vintage of same wine- it just is a little short in depth and body. The 609 is more complete, this wine is still very nice. Dark fruits, not as much oak or cedar notes.

Peak drinking imho... rich dark still some tannins but the black fruits and spice tones with cedar notes are really well integrated!!! Will compare to lot 614 the 2015 vintage.

Volatile when opened, alcohol and phenolics. Smoothes out after an hour. Not terribly distinctive. Blend but no percentages. Dark purple. Not sure what make of this wine.

I found this sour and having heat. The cherries come out after 2 hours. Pass

A simple direct red that is light bodied, but really not very deep in any way. Its nice in hot weather. I did not get cherries but red plums, a little spice.

Costco Wine blog rated 88....hmmmmm not in my book....

My last bottle and this wine was just hard and not fruit forward. Had a trace of bitterness that never left. Disappointed overall, this wine was piven a 92 point write up by Spectator and only one of the bottles of the 6 I had came close...

The first night this wine is lighter in body. It gains complexity after 3 hours. The body is medium full second night. A blend it is dark and some black fruits, chocolate notes.

5 days after opening and only a third of the bottle left this wine really had a full body and deep unctious tannins. Hold for a while.

This wine has smoothed out, has a quite delicious nose. Still very dark in color with some red in the color. Nose of black fruits and some slight floral notes. The depth and complexity is just not there for a higher score. I bought this off Wine Access a number of years ago and I now avoid wines from this winemaker....

This wine has just still the same, chunky, rustic, some oak and black fruits after an hour. For what I spent on it I am kind of disappointed. It's nice but I dropped $ 40 a bottle 4 years ago. REally thought it would be more. This is why I am spending my money at De Negoce from CH....

Intersting wine, game and roasted meat nose. Tomato leaf and a floral note(viognier?). Medium bodied it has depth but not terribly complex. Decent acid but i dont see it gaining much.

This wine was just tired and tasted like it was 2x the age. Some notes of orange peel, light red rim. No tarry notes like I enjoy in these wines.

Still very dark and brooding. From the sleeping lady vineyard, the tannins are very prominent. Black fruits are there, hoping they can last. Plenty of flesh, this wine is still developing.

Decanted 2 hours. The main flavors of this wine are cedar and oak, spices (sandalwood)and fruit take a back seat. It is a very pleasant wine with medium bodied and rich mouthfeel. The fruit seems to be lacking, there is some black fruits. I would drink this over the next 2 years.

Nice mouthfeel with damson plums, chocolate, vanilla notes. Tannins are there but manageable, fleshy and unctious feel makes this a warm wine. That said not complex enough for a higher score.

Kind of a bit raisiny and pruney. Some cherry flavors, but not nearly as good as years past.

This is a dark and concentrated wine. It has an immediate raspberry coulis bouquet and medium bodied. Tannic and plenty of acid. At 20 a bottle a good buy!

After 2 hours the raspberry is gone and black cherry comes out. Nice depth!

Looking forward to the other 3! I rxpect these will be as good or better. 20$ from wtso. Win win. No store to goto!!!
