Nice, reasonably rich and oily for a Viognier. Evi said violets, Finn apple and orange. Had with pork roast and went very well.

We both enjoyed. Rich, smooth, not too tannic, although muted aromas. Good QPR.

Agree with the barnyard comments -- after a 2.5 hr decant, still too much. Not to the extent I'd call it a fault; the wine was pleasant to drink; but too much barnyard.

The "slightly corked" theme continues, although it seems to dissipate a bit. Might need to try decanting to see what happens.

Opened two bottles. Decanted one the evening before and the other in the morning. The first bottle had a nice cork and was delicious: smooth and rich. The second bottle was corroded on the top of the cork, was a pain to open, and had a faint but very odd smell.

Fortunately, with guests we only got through the first bottle!

Pleasant. For Bordeaux medium body and tannins. Pleasant light tobacco with fruit. Not great, but very nice. Might have liked heavier with the venison.

Decanted one hour.

Disappointed. No fruit or floral, felt almost faded.

We all enjoy this as an everyday Chardonnay. Very light oak, which is just right. Sean also commented on how nice it is.

Delicious. Smooth, rich, in a lovely spot in its window. Evi loved it. Not a lot of fruit on the nose, more tobacco, etc., but very clean.

Not thrilled. It did not really taste like a chardonnay; not sure why. There was no flaw, and I couldn't put my finger on what was different. In any case, neither of us particularly liked it.

Very nice. Has the extra depth of Amontillado but (in my very limited experience) richer and smoother than the others I have had. Will order again.

A very good retsina. A smooth, good quality wine but still with the strong retsina aroma and taste. Will buy again.

Like the 2020, less floral than we had been hoping. They don't seem to be up to the aromas of the 2019. Won't buy again.

Pleasant. Served well-chilled as aperitif on a warm summer day. Nice flavor of blackberry and not too sweet.

Apparently it is also drunk in beer, sort of like a Radler. Will try this next time.

Seemed more acidic than we remember from the last time. Would not drink alone, but went well with the Camembert. A bit surprised about the difference with the previous note.

Decanted 1.5 hours.

Pleasant. Smells of graham cracker. I would say in a dumb phase, but still quite nice. Wait 3-5 years before trying the next one.

Still very good, with lots of dark fruit notes (especially black currant) that went perfectly with our steak with black currant sauce. Not as rich and full as I remember the Les Côteaux.

Decanted 1.5 hours.

Ok. A bit of an upscale retsina. Nothing wrong with it; perhaps for people who find the everyday stuff a bit too forceful. I wouldn't re-order.

Not ready yet: still very tannic and acidic. I'll give it two years before trying another. Aromas of wet forest floor, leather, a bit of barnyard, minimal fruit.

Decanted 3+ hours.

Not sure. Drank without decanting. It had an acerbic/metallic tinge when drinking without food. With food didn't notice. Dark, some aroma of cassis.

Really need to decant properly and then give it a try.

For some reason this bottle was better than usual: richer, fuller while still having the tangy GV taste. Need to see if this is consistent across the vintage.
