As for the 2002 version, this is one of the great whites of Southern Italy if not of the whole peninsula. Truly emotional. A wine that can sit a French Table.

Not sure if it's the Cru but I tasted this vineyard from Fevre (and other producers) several times over and I can't help but NOT like it: it does lack backbone. Really very far from my Chablis paradigm.

Have to say I was not impressed by the 2007 Auction but this is a v good Scharzhofberger not as elegant as Egon Mueller but well worth is at £16. Vintage plays a big role
